The hotel overlooks the ocean and Magnetic Island but needs a little maintenance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, albeit a bit small for the price. The service was very attentive and helpful. The location offers fabulous views but is just outside the city center. The dining options are great, with a fantastic range to suit all dietary requirements. Overall, a nice place that needs a little TLC.
The hotel's rooms are dated and showing age, exactly the same layout as the Executive suite with an adjoining door. The service was a mix of very helpful, delivering a forgotten camera to the airport, and at the same time lacking warmth, creating a sterile environment. The location is great by the water but a little out of the way to the rest of Townsville. The dining experience ranged from wanting a simple bowl of cereal to enjoying a lovely view of the marina during in-room breakfast at the restaurant 'Quarterdeck,' which offered amazing meals. The facilities were satisfactory, catering to basic needs.
The hotel had a bang on trend decor that was very comfortable and had a large, clean, and modern feel. The service was exceptional, ensuring all our requests were met promptly. The location was fabulous with gorgeous views, but seating availability was limited. The dining experience offered a fantastic range but was a bit on the pricey side. The facilities were top-notch with everything we needed at our fingertips.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room, though not ready when I arrived, turned out to be excellent, especially for my elderly sister and me. The location was terrific, right on the water with plenty of parking, but cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The staff provided great service, going the extra mile, yet dining options were somewhat limited and overpriced.
The hotel had rooms that were absolutely freezing cold, although I enjoyed the view from there. It was fine overall, but there was no pool which was a downside.
